Meet River

Hello, and welcome!

My name is Trish, though within my practice I affectionately go by my witch name, River.

My journey into witchcraft began when I was 12 years old after stumbling across a website about spells. It was one of those wonderfully over-the-top sites filled with flashy graphics and dramatic effects, but something about it resonated with me in a way I can only describe as natural. That moment sparked a curiosity that has stayed with me ever since.

I wasn’t raised in a family that practiced witchcraft—in fact, most of my family viewed it as something to fear. Everything I’ve learned has come through years of personal study, exploration, and lived experience. Along the way, I’ve not only deepened my understanding of the Craft but also discovered a great deal about myself.

Hearth & Crafts was created to share that same sense of curiosity and discovery with others. My goal isn’t to tell you what your practice should look like, but to offer guidance, knowledge, and encouragement as you explore and build a path that feels authentic to you.
